Walden the Narwhal (or Whale!)

$ 5.00

US English pattern by Hookabee. Includes step-by-step pictures.

Crochet your very own ‘unicorn of the sea’ (ie. Narwhal!). Or, if you want a whale, simply finish him without adding a horn.

This cutie is big, snuggly, and oh so huggable!

The pattern includes step-by-step photos as well as links to online videos. And of course, you can contact me along the way to ask any questions!

This is an intermediate level pattern due to the the multiple colour changes involved.

Materials needed:
- G US (4 mm) hook
- two colours of worsted weight yarn (142 yrds for body; 70 yrds for belly)
- yarn/tapestry needle
- stitch marker
- two 15 mm plastic safety eyes
- polyester fiberfill stuffing

Note: If you are making this amigurumi for someone under 3 yrs, I recommend crocheting or embroidering the eyes instead of using the plastic safety eyes.

Stitches used: magic ring, single crochet, increase, (invisible) decrease, back loops only
Measurement: 17 inches/43 cm with worsted weight yarn
