Hairy Horace

$ 5.00

US English pattern by Janine Holmes at Moji-Moji Design.

If you ever want to know the latest monster gossip on Planet Fuzz then Hairy Horace is the one you need to talk to. He sees everything, even though he’s only got one eye (it’s a very big one), he hears everything, even though he’s got no ears (those strange cones on his head soak up the tiniest noises) and he’s very, very nosey, even though he’s got no nose (but then you don’t actually need a nose to be nosey). Monster biology is a curious business. It takes all sorts to make a universe!

When made with light worsted weight (DK/8ply) yarn and a 3.5 mm hook, Horace measures 15" (38 cm) tall. Suggested safety eye size - 15 mm

I used 1 x 50 g ball of King Cole Moments for the furry yarn in these examples.

This pattern is written in American crochet terminology and includes a handy stitch conversion chart so you can translate to British crochet terms instead should you wish to.

Stitches used: chain, slip stitch, single crochet, increase, (invisible) decrease, back loops only
Measurement: 15" (38 cm) tall
