Doll Kiki - girl with removable dress, bolero, boots and movable joints.

This is Kiki. She is a curious girl, who likes to explore the world. She collects special stones and shells. But above all, she loves to play together with you!

SKILL LEVEL:
3 - Intermediate
You will need knowledge of:
• crocheting in spiral, rounds and in rows
• start a piece with a magic adjustable ring and a chain
• chain, slip stitch, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet
• increasing and decreasing

Other special stitches are explained particularly.

MATERIALS:
• 2.5 mm (US size C), 3.0 mm (US size D) and 3.5 mm (US size E) crochet hook
• sport weight cotton yarn in 7 different colors
• polyfill to stuff
• a pair of 8 mm (1/3”) black safety eyes
• 3 sets of 30 mm (1 1/5”) plastic doll joints (or safety eyes in same size) for the head and legs
• 2 sets of 20 mm (3/4”) plastic doll joints (or safety eyes in the same size) for the arms
• 3 buttons of about 10 mm Ø for the dress
• tapestry needle, scissors, pins, stitch marker
• sewing needle and sewing thread in the color of hair
• plastic tablemat (or cardboard) for footpads

Stitches used: chain, slip stitch, magic ring, single crochet, increase, (invisible) decrease, half double crochet, double crochet, back loops only, front loops only, starting an oval piece with a foundation chain, double crochet decrease, reverse single crochet, half double crochet decrease, crochet into a ring
Measurement: 11.8'' (30 cm) tall, from head to toe, If done with sport weight cotton yarn and size C (2.5 mm) hook
