Body colour changes

Hi! Can any help me understand how to do the different colours on the body? Everything I try looks completely wrong! I could do with a few step-by-step pix to show me. I'm just creating a weird mess... :( Thank you!

Hi, thanks for reaching out to us! I'll copy some info on color changes below, I hope this helps:

INVISIBLE COLOR CHANGE
When you want to switch from one color to the next, you work to within two stitches before a color change.
Step 1: Make the next single crochet stitch as usual, but don’t pull the final loop through.
Step 2-3: Instead, wrap the new color of yarn around your hook and pull it through the remaining loops.
To make a neat color change, you can make the first stitch in the new color a slip stitch instead of a single crochet. Don’t pull the slip stitch too tight or it will be difficult to crochet into in the next round. Tie the loose tails in a knot and leave them on the inside.

You can also visit www.stitch.show/colorchange for the video tutorial

Yes, I tried that but still can't get it to look at all like the pictures. 021-sad.jpg No idea what I'm doing wrong. Maybe it's a bit advanced for me!  Might just have to be a plain body on mine.... But I'll try again!
