Hi! When making the starfish, you put the 2 parts of the center on top of each other (wrong sides facing each other). You then work first on the second part and then on the first part, making a new (smaller round). Rounds 2-6 are worked on this smaller round (this way, we make 1 tip of the starfish). We repeat the pattern to make the other tips of the starfish. I hope this helps you out, enjoy crocheting!
